NATIONAL INSTITUTE FOR AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE EXCELLENCE (ASE)

ASE tests technicians nationwide that have fulfilled the two-year work experience requirement.  The tests cover eight major areas including: engine repair, engine performance, electrical/electronic systems, brakes, heating/air-conditioning, suspension and steering, manual drive train and axles, and automatic transmissions.  The tests are developed by industry experts, in-house pros, and ACT (group known for its college entrance exams).  Some technicians only test in one or two areas.  ASE has tested and certified the technical competence of the technicians at AutoSmith Premium, LP & Rovers America.   In addition, ASE has not only certified the technicians, but has given the status of Master Technician because of being certified in all eight areas!

 

AAA AUTO CLUB

An Approved Auto Repair (AAR) is an AAA member benefit designed to help direct members to pre-screened, reputable automobile repair facilities for quality auto repairs.  AAR facilities sign agreements to provide reliable, high-quality service performed by ASE certified technicians.  To become an AAR center, AAA did a criminal background check, reviewed bank history, insurance coverage and claims, examined location, tools, and equipment, and audited customer files.  The AAA found AutoSmith to have the highest rating ever given of 98% and is one of the few AAR centers in the area to choose from.
